To make money requests, you need to know the recipient’s email address or mobile number. Making requests is free of charge.

After you have sent a money request, the other Pocopay user will be notified immediately and can either accept or decline it. If they accept your request, funds will be transferred to your account in seconds.

If the request is sent to a person who is not using Pocopay, they will receive an email or a text message with the invitation to join Pocopay. They will also receive the details of your money request with instructions to alternatively pay the amount via their bank account.

The request is active until the recipient responds to it. If the recipient is not a Pocopay user, then unfulfilled request will be cancelled in 30 days. You are able to cancel unfulfilled requests yourself under “Requests”.
